Customers tell me that the hardest part of their enterprise mobility strategy is getting the application part of it right. In many cases, even after years of having a world class mobile security platform in place, app development productivity is still a bottleneck. To make their enterprise mobility strategies work, our customers want a no-code, rapid application generation platform that is BlackBerry secure. Webalo now offers a solution to that problem in two ways.

Today we released Webalo for BlackBerry Enterprise Mobility Suite, fully integrated with BlackBerry Dynamics to make it simple to deliver mobile apps with advanced enterprise security and management features, such as single sign-on, encryption, data loss prevention, remote wipe, and policy management. Webalo for BlackBerry Enterprise Mobility Suite incorporates BlackBerry security, mobility and platform services, ensuring that enterprise data is always secure, and Android and iOS apps are always enterprise ready.

The BlackBerry Enterprise Mobility Suite also enables a consistent approach to endpoint management across multiple OS platforms. With wide support for different operating systems, form factors, ownership models and security postures, it provides true Unified Endpoint Management (UEM).  Through this release, Webalo also supports Android for work which isolates business from personal data in a separate work profile, protected device-wide by Android platform security and encryption. BlackBerry UEM management and advanced policy controls for Android for Work help IT to meet enterprise security needs without compromising the rich Android user experience provided in the Webalo client.

With these two BlackBerry offerings, Webalo makes it even easier to fit into the customer’s mobile enterprise security environment. The added value that Webalo brings is a true, simple, low cost, and highly productive app generation platform so enterprises can accelerate their app delivery initiatives.
